Which race would be considered the halfling enemy?

Smurfs.

Halflings really dont have what would be considerd a racial enemy.

Their base attitude is even to try and get along with everybody.

Other halflings! Stongheart and to a lesser extent Lightfoot halflings hold a great dislike towards Ghostwise halflings.

Ladocicea.

I think halflings mainly hate goblins.

I stand with Wiggyboy. There's quite the history between halfling subraces.

The halfling thing goes deeper than that.. I am sure i have read somewhere that the Ghostwise have suffered near genocide at some points at the hands of the other halfling subraces, with whole clans wiped out...

Well...

FRCS pg. 196 Around -100DR... the ghostwise halflings fell into darkness, worshipping Malar and glorifying bloodshed and violence.

In -68DR, a strongheart hunter named Chand became war chief of his folk and struck an alliance with the warchief of the lightfoot tribe.... Over three years each ghostwise stronghold and lair was found out and destroyed... The fighting was merciless and awful - entire ghostwise villages were burned and their folk killed. Chand held to his purpose and saw to it that no hin warrior stayed his or her hand.

Many of the lightfoots, horrified by what Chand and the stronghearts had done, chose to leave the Lluirwood. They became a nomadic people spread across all of northern Faerun.

The Hin Ghostwars (while over 1400 years prior to the "present") shaped the identity of the three hin tribes - the wandering of the lightfoots, the militancy of the stronghearts and the silence of the Ghostwise - who vowed never to speak again until they had atoned for the violence they wreaked while under Malar's sway.
