Sergeant Azuran,
I do not know what is the word at the Watch house regarding the stupidity of the "law" against holding your weapon visible -or- distortion of the law started under Fawkes' Era. I understand it can be used to restraint civilians and such, but the Tribe of Blades is considered an Ally of Sanctuary and therefore between fellow Warriors, cant you not understand our desire to show the symbol of our valor?
I am writing you this because I see privates wandering the street trying to elicit riots for simple "qualms" such as this. These claims should have stayed buried with the burden left by the blood legacy of the late Barrister Fawkes.
Enough men have shed blood in his name, and for what? Freedom? Protection? Honor?
No. It was for his massive Ego. This simple order which has no foundation except to satisfy the authoritarian needs of your privates should be ceased.
I hope my arguments made sense and that they found a rational mind to explain it to your privates and request them that the Tribe of Blade will be waived from further harassment on this worthless issue.
If you disagree or if one of your subordinates does, please send me your disagreements and we shall argue more fiercely.

Narr'Ghuul,
You and Saruk have disrespected the watch in our own Home. You have shown to us that you are willing to callously disregard a simple request because you want to. You have been aware that opening-bearing arms is not a freedom given. The past has created a precedent for the way this is handled. Our actions are not the actions of the previous and still very dead Sheriff Fawkes, they are our own. You not only knew such before coming into our home, but the Private told you such. You were told so, three times to simply- strap you weapon onto your back. Never were you asked to hide it. When you decide that respect is only to be had and not given, you insult. That is what you have done. More importantly, your choices here have weakened our faith in the Tribe. This is not to be desired by either side.
The mere fact that I have no other recourse but to refer you as on an opposing side, shames me. I respect you, and you know this. But you have done wrong to me. You betrayed my respect for your pride. Bearing your weapons in hand is unnecessary and only increases risk of violence. Display them on your person, and do so with honor.
We are not without fault here, and that will not be omitted. The Private took matters beyond what could be considered reasonable concerning the situation. That alone is a testament to the disrespect we've felt. However, I do not allow such actions to be so ill considered. You have no bounty on your name and she has been reprimanded for the extent at which she pursued this.
Now I shall I address your response. I am again insulted, more deeply still, that you would request to right to ignore us, in our own home, based on the actions of a man who is dead. Sheriff Fawkes did not create our current methods, nor our reasoning. Also, I will not be ashamed of a man who died serving this city, no matter how rash his actions in life. If you continue to throw his name at me like dirt- I will not ignore the slight.
Previous to this encounter, I had been constructing a proposal for the council that would have entitled the Tribe with lawful authority in Lower. Both the Private Lyonheart and myself still desire such- but we demand some respect be shown in return to us. While we are in your home, we do not ignore you. In our home you should share that courtesy. If you have any intention of working with us, then you owe an apology. Nothing more. With but a single honestly spoken apology, from you and Saruk to the Private Lyonheart, you will have shown us the respect that is necessary for the future between us. And again proved yourself more then worthy of our support. In return you shall be given our apology for the disrespect that has been done to you. Consider this and we shall soon speak.

Our honor is not to be judged or derailed into this topic. It is a simple case that has been blown out of proportion. Hence, I will keep it to the facts at hand:
I did not predict the amount of grief this rebuttal would provoke.
You wish for an apology?
Fair.
However,
Previous to this encounter, I had been constructing a proposal for the council that would have entitled the Tribe with lawful authority in Lower.
Lawful authority in lower is more a burden than anything else it would seem by judging your past history, however I smile at the thought.
All efforts of "Law" in Lower Sanctuary have failed. As well as the new "hole" into the city created by the removal of the Goblin Tribe. . . Rogue spirits will make it much harder to achieve any kind of stability.
I do not see how bringing these massive faults of security to your "home" gives you a negotiating power on this issue.
I frankly would wish for a mutually beneficial resolution rather than childish confrontation which are self-destructive for both negotiators.
