Trial by the Blades
This grand tournament is open to any honorable warriors of the Den. It is a test to earn the respect of the Tribe and others, as well as to benefit from a large sum of gold. Not only will you be evaluated by the members of the Tribe of the Blade, You will also compete with 16 others for the grand total of 3000 gold pieces as well as other unique Boons depending on your valor and the surplus gained by the spectators' fee.
Customs of this Grand Battle
- Only 16 participants allowed, limited spaces so register early.
- It will cost 50 coins to participate, 100 coins to spectate.
- Registration will be handled by Narr'Ghuul and Saruk [send letters and gold ((PM first.))]
- The Trial of the Blades shall happen 5 sleep cycle from now, time will be arranged.
- Fights are not to the death unless both participants agreed for it. (The winner of a fight to the death will receive many brewed liquids to aid in his ascension as well as the respect of many.)
-Anything can be used in a fight, as long as you do not exit the honor path: Potions, wands, innate powers, anything you wish.
-If you are to use Powers that could endangers the spectators, give them a duly warning BEFORE the fight or be disqualified and dishonored (see consequences below).
-No preparation are allowed before a fight, if you are caught and you will be, you will be disqualified and dishonored.
-One -important- exception to the rule above, before any fight, the Tribe will decide with the aid of the crowd which fighters is "favored" by the odds. Before the battle, the Unfavored fighter will have the right to buy blessings from Tribesmen at a minor price depending on rate of the odds.
-If you leave the honor path without performing the rite of passage, you will be dishonored. It shall be explained more carefully.
-Opponents will be randomize from the pool of participants.

Other medals:
[Most Glorious Confrontation:] The Combatants of the battle judged as most impressive will be awarded 500 gold coins each, as well as some potions.
[Most Vicious Strike:] The Fighter who is judged to have done the most precise and masterful strike of the competition will be awarded 250 gold coins and a discount on one of the Tribe's wares.

On the meaning of dishonored: Not only are you disqualified and thrown outside the camp, but any who wish to strike at you and rob you will have the right to do so. If you are *truly* respected, nothing else than a few hits should happen.
