Dear Baron Matternheim, I am Stolig Uvarkk, priest of Segojan Earthcaller. Some time ago we blew up the foul dragon statues those disgusting kobolds had built in the Canal Ward. We thought the town would welcome this but to our horror they did not. We were asked to pay the so called 'shadow tribe' 30,000 coins for them. The statues themselves were made from the rubble of the former houses that the kobolds had destroyed during their un-wanted occupation of that district. We have on several ocasions helped the Watch, Spellgaurd and even saved their lives a number of times. Also after a horrible incident we even found the corpse of Agent Blake after her fellow agents had left her to the mercy of the gangs in lower and paid for her return to life out of our own pocket.

I am afraid that we will never be able to raise the 30,000 gold and we beg you for assistance, or possible forgivness... We only wish this town the best and help as much as we can always! Outrageous! I will see that this 30,000 gold find is reduced dramatically. Then we shall gather, my brother, gather for WAR. Together we shall slay many kobolds, and it shall be glorious.
