[Letter left in the Watch House for Felidae Larksong]

//Written in the Scribe’s neat print, with obvious pains taken to correct the customer’s poor grammar and to siphon through the accents:

Miss Felidae Larksong,

Well, as you wanted, here’s your letter. I’m looking to join the watch and mainly this is ‘cause I hope to be able to do some good-- I want to be able to give whatever I can to Sanctuary. ‘Cause I’ve taken a liking to the place-- it’s what I have now and it needs to be protected. And since it’s what I’ve got it’s my family. And in my Tribe family is life, it’s what you’ve always got and it needs protecting. When I came here I went straight to live in Lower, it worked for me ‘cause I was left mostly to myself. That was a couple years ago and things have only gone from bad to worse and I felt it was time for me to step up and do my part in fixing things on the inside so that we can be better to face what’s outside when it comes. I think that the best way that I could do my part is in joining the Watch. Maybe I can make a difference, least I’ll be one more in the number to try and keep things stable, yes?

Honor and family. They’re the things that make someone. We’re all family and we’re all honor bound to do something to help, yes?

Hope that’s good enough for you Larksong. Hope it means something at least. Thanks for reading, I know it‘s not much. But it‘s what I‘ve got.

Signed, Jaydin Yuri Of the Tree Ghost Tribe

Straik personally retrieves the letter from Jaydin after it's written and takes it down to the Barracks, leaving it on Larksong's storage chest as she sleeps
