Good Sheriff,
I suspect I have sent this letter higher up the chain of command than is needed, but I am a man of little politics. I write this letter to offer my services to the Watch, and to outline my goals for our dear city.
I am a tracker and animal trainer, and I believe with my help we could considerably bolster the defenses of our city using trained dogs. I believe I am the man for this job. I already have an extremely well trained hound to aid me in my future patrols or fugitive hunts, and hopefully could at least train more to aid at the areas of our more static and important posts.
I wear plate mail, and do not attempt to hide from my foes, but I assure you my tracking skills are on par with anyone in this town.
