Brother Willoud, I'm saddened we haven't spoken for some time. I've had to look into terrible rumors that the surface can not be reached, to learn if they're true. Although, some claim I became convinced of this-I assure you it is not true. The Way is still there for those who Seek.
I've decided to run for city council. It is necessary, and I am a strong friend to the Seekers and their mission. I know you better than any active Seeker, and desire a favor. Please speak to some of the current Seekers about me, and ask them to meet with me. In running for Council, I wish their support.
In other matters, I wish to discuss the Ubels and what they once stood for. Of all the councilor's I've studied in the histories, I respected him most and I know the Seekers seemed to favor him greatly. I wish to know how to emulate his example without making his mistakes and I know the head of the Seekers is the elf that can help there.
