Private Letter to Commander Simms

*In an envelope with a wax seal*

Commander Simms,

I write to you regarding two of your agents, Agent Daheron, and Agent Illiandria. A hobgoblin named Hrug was in the Spellgaurd Tower being questioned for killing a Sanctuary Citizen.

I had given Agent Illisandrio specific instructions to take Hrug the hobgoblin to the Upper Gate and release him and give him back his belongings.

I did not witness what occured once the agent and Hrug left Upper. Two citizens came to me soon after, and told me that Hrug had been beaten to death in the wilderness while he was stilll chained. They both said that Agent Daheron had kicked Hrug in the head until it was a bloody pulp. I went to the Spellgaurd Tower to ask both agents what had happened. They both told me that Hrug had been released and was on his own to walk back to Goblin Town. I looked at Illiandria's cloak, and it had a few rips in it, the elf that was with them had blood on his sword, sheild and armour. I asked Agent Daheron to show me her boots. Agent Daheron refused. I told Agent Barkley about the entire situation, and asked him to assist me. Barkley offered no aid, and said that we should take the matter out of the Tower. When I persisted, and as Agent Daheron walked away, Barkley said, "The Agent is busy, and has other things to do"

I asked several times for Agent Daheron to show me her boots to prove her innosence in this matter. She ignored my requests and walked away into one of the rooms of the Tower, locking the door behind her.

Asking for an Agent to show her shoes is not an unreasonable request. I am quite sure that Agent Daheron destroyed any evidence as soon as she was behind the closed doors of the Tower.

It is apparant that something did happen, and by Agent Daheron's refusal to comply with my request, that they did indead break my order and killed a prisoner in their custody.

I am asking for both agents to be removed from the Spellgaurd. If they cannot comply with the simple orders of a Council Member, and abuse the prisoners in their care, then they should not wear the robes of the Order, nor hold any position of authority in Sanctuary. I am also asking for Agent Barkley to be reprimanded for his blatant disregard in this matter and interfering with an investigation.

Councilor Ferdinand Fenwick
