After considerable investigation, I have determined that it was a group from Sanctuary that embarked on a trip to what may have been the tomb of Asherak, a wizard of some considerable reputation, deep in the Underdark. This tomb, also known as the Dread Halls, is a very important location, if it indeed exists.

Anyone having information on this tomb, the expedition or the people on it, or any items recovered on the trip is encouraged to contact myself, Thomas Alqvin, either by letter at the Last Stand, or at my place of business.

Rewards will be offered for helpful information or items.

Helpful information leading to this tomb or information about what lies within will garner rewards of up to 1000 gold.

I am also now seeking mercenaries to seek out this tomb and enter it. Be advised that this mission will be potentially fatal, should the tomb be found.

Several groups and individuals have been sent into the Dread Halls, and the few who have returned with portions of their bodies intact have brought me very little reliable information. Its location is quite clear, and I have learned some few tidbits about its interior, but my knowledge is still far from complete.

I am once again seeking worthy adventurers to enter into the Dread Halls and seek out the lost treasures of Asherak. Please inquire by letter at the Last Stand, or at my place of business should you be interested. Death is almost assured, but the most prepared and spectacularly skilled adventurers will find themselves rich and powerful beyond their dreams. And besides, death is assured (for most), at one time or another, regardless.
