Is it legal to talk to NPCs and shop while invisible?

In an OOC or IC sense?

Obviously, IC is FOIG stuff. OOCly, I guess its fine, though undesirable.

In either sense. OOC, mainly. Isn't it kind of exploitive to talk to NPCs when they can't see you and aren't occupied by a DM?

Certainly, if you intend on exploiting them. I don't think we're going to dock XP or anything if you're just buying something while having forgot to dispel the invisibility though!

I should add a script to have NPCs give confused reactions if the PC speaker is invisible!

I've wondered about this very question myself in the past! Though it's hardly priority one, if it's easily scriptable, and Arkov says it can be done, then it probably should be so (for example) wanted criminals couldn't hawk their wares invisibly to Norma Walders!
