Honarable Watch,
I, Captain Zebulon Smythe, wish to implore you to rectify a situation that concerns me.
Seeker Scae had approached Guardian DeMoray and myself recently in Lower. He had requested our help in killing goblins. He said he was working on orders of the Council.
We refused to play along with his madness. He cursed us for not wanting to protect Sanctuary. He even threatened to burn the Archibald Estate down if we did not help him. What an outrage! We refused and returned to Upper. Later on, he passed by me at the gate and clearly stated that he killed two goblins in front of many witnesses.
I had spoke of this with a Councilor and it was confirmed no such order had been given to the Seekers to kill goblins.
I do believe that the Seeker organization is trying to foment unrest of the massive goblin tribe in Lower. He is trying to start a war.
I read a Seeker poster stating that goblins and kobolds coming to Upper to attack our children. I think it is more likely that he keeps attacking them and they are trying to retaliate agaisnt him. The Seekers are the problem. They say they are for freedom, but actually they are for anarchy and mayhem. Why should we believe a threat of goblins by a group that actively attacks goblins to start trouble? Could it be that if the did not actively attack and provoke the goblins, they would not have chased them into Upper? What if one day the rest of the tribe comes after them!?
First, Seeker Scae should be arrested for endangerment to Sanctuary he is causing. Then rest of the Seeker organization should be watched to determine if they are all acting in concert.
The good citizens of Sanctuary demand justice. We believe in the Watch to provide this justice.
