This is Stark, and Im writing to let you know that we have enough coin to purchase the building for the Shelter. I thought it would please you to know, as I am aware of your own interest in our cause (dont think I wont tease you some about this portrait business). That being said, we still need to pay for the renovations inside the structure to suit our purposes of feeding and housing those in need.

I am certain you have spoken with those individuals you work along side with about our project, and it is my recollection that you once mentioned the possibility of the Watch itself placing a donation. I understand you certainly have budget constraints you must work around, however, I would appreciate it if you could spread the idea further in your fine organization to see what interest there may be within. Please let me know what results you may find.

As members of the Watch you noble men and women place your lives between our community and the vast and cruel night. You more than any love what our fine city could be. The Watch as an organisation is not in a financial position to make significant donations to the Shelter.

To be blunt, the scant funds allocated by the Council barely cover the costs of equipping our own men. But that is politics, of which you are no doubt bored to death of late.

I advise you to approach members of the Watch individually if the project requires further donations. As for my own, inform Michael that I shall hand over the coin when we next meet.
