We must spread love instead of hate!
This is a general rule that I think most people usually abide by, but there has been a couple of cases recently that suggest we have not made this as clear as we could have.
It's not your place to assess your fellow player's quality of RP and take this assessment to them in tells. If you don't like how a player is playing their character or if you think they are metagaming or simply doing something wildly uncharacteristic of what you perceive to be their concept, inform a DM. The DMs are far better equipped to make this judgement as we have access to players' alignments/deities/concepts and so forth, not to mention the right to actually enforce quality control on the server; something you as a player do not have.
Of course, if you feel it would be helpful, you may very politely suggest in tells to your fellow player what they could do with their character, if they so pleased. You must not tell them what they should not do.
Accusations of foul play and so forth are best not levelled in tells to the player you believe to be the perpetrator. Take whatever you're given on the chin and do your best to play along with the player, even if they seem to be clearly doing something terribly wrong to you, and report this to a DM. Remember: as soon as you begin accusing players, you make yourself as liable as they are.
The EfU DMs work hard to promote a harmonious relationship between players, and we ask all players to treat one another with respect.
I'm more than happy to answer any questions anyone has on this announcement in private.
Peace and love.
