I don't know if this is intentional, or maybe the bat monster's alignment isn't evil, but recently my wizard was doing this quest, cast protection from evil on himself and then became scared from the bat monster's wave. Is his wave of fear not supposed to be a mind-affecting spell? Thought I'd report it anyways.

Bats arent evil. They're just misunderstood.
