The elemental isn't in the basement. Twice on this quest, nothing spawned.

When someone takes a quest, fails (through death or giving up), any encounter that was triggered but the corresponding monsters not killed will fail to trigger for the next group that comes through.

So if you try a quest and fail, I'd appreciate a quick DM tell so we can kill the remaining monsters manually.

If you try a quest and the end boss or other monsters don't show up, again just send a DM tell so they can spawn them for you.

Hopefully we'll get this fixed soon.

Unfortunately the nature of the quest is that it's one that people often try and give up on.
