I've only just noticed the script that seems to black out your whole screen when you're beaten the hell out of. I think that's quite awesome and gives an incredible feeling of not knowing what the person is doing while you're down for the count.
A problem with this is that you can't RP any further as your whole screen is just totally black. For example, if someone beats the crap out of you, then RPs *Picks him up and carries him*, you don't know and can't comply.
Perhaps some kind of drag/carry tool similar to how shackles make you follow someone?
I think the effect should also last a bit longer than it does.

The entire screen is no longer blacked out -- although it is pretty cool, it rapidly led to frustration/annoyance in many situations. Subdual duration was also increased -- this in part led to removing the screen blackout feature, because it just lasted too long.
Our subdual system has been changed a bit since this suggestion was posted, so I'll take this opportunity to describe how things work.
Sparring mode can be used for friendly duels. It will drop your victim to **winded**, and they will be forced to the ground for a few seconds.
Subdual mode can be used for non-lethal PvP combat. It will drop your victim to **subdued**, and then progressively through **blacked out**, **knocked out**, and finally **concussion**. When a victim is subdued, they will be forced to the ground for a period of time, and also suffer temporary AC and movement speed penalties. This period of time, and the penalties, will each grow more severe as the victim is progressively knocked to **blacked out**, **knocked out**, and **concussion**.
Full Damage mode just outright kills the victim.
