Arga -again-

I decided I wanted to do it to check that it is indeed bugless, and also because I have never actually done the quest because it was bugged for so long.

Main problem I think is that the quest is still closing itself automatically upon -leaving- the quest area, instead of through a second conversation with the placeable.

We didn't actually finish the quest because we got slaughtered, and one party member died in our attempt to escape. I wanted to retrieve the corpse, but the quest had closed, barring me from entry, which meant the poor bastard decided to perma-end his character because there was no way of retrieving his gear etc.

I can also imagine this being a problem if you accidentally go through the transition again immediately after entry which can sometimes happen if you use "wasd" movement or if you misclick.

So - if this could be changed to only close on conversation with the placeable that would be good... unless the intention is to give the feel of an Indiana Jones style collapse of the tomb after exit... in which case there should probably be an ooc warning that you won't be able to re-enter the area once you leave it.

This is easily one of the most dangerous/unbalanced/buggy quests at the moment.

* Quest log updates upon leaving QA, as Chez says (and somehow I seem to recollect it was upon leaving the main chamber, meaning update comes while you're still inside QA).

* One or more of the baddies summon really-really-skinny Warriors (Not modified for EfU) with Magical Greatswords, awesome to-hit-bonuses and the lot. (And the level range for Characters is 3-6 if I remember correctly). It hurts.

* Some very nice traps in this quest; many that were new and suprising and refreshing. A few of them, however, lets you fall down into a spot from where there is little or no escape. If this is supposed to be "Step on the wrong stone, and you're finished" then I'm all for it, but it will be a first in a scripted quest on this server to my knowledge. Grim.

Edit: My party got creamed too.

Yes, when someone died, it tells he successfully escaped the tomb.. heh

Like in the movie "The mummy" in this quest both most scary monsters are the undead and the bugs...

This quest -is- Do able, just have: 19 charisma, undeath domain, and a dm to let yuo back in when you rested and rebuffed your group.

Yeah. I don't see that happening though TnotVW. Not only it isn't a solution to the bug, nor is it an appropriate way to deal with quests.
