Good dwarves,
My name is Elias Brock, and I am working on making the Beacon a place of learning and a boon to the community. I am writing to ask your clan to host a community dinner at the Beacon. The way I envision this, it would be an opportunity for the dwarves of Sanctuary to show the rest of the community about themselves, their goals, their histories and traditions.
If possible, it would be splendid if you could provide some examples of dwarven cooking, in large enough quantities to feed whoever might be interested in showing up. I understand quality ingredients may be hard to come by in Sanctuary, but the people who show up for this event will be understanding. It would also be best if you provided at least one beverage that contains no alcohol, for the children. If you can not or do not wish to provide food and drink for this event, I will arrange for it instead.
Essentially the idea for the event is that over dinner some stories could be shared with the community, as well as some explanation of dwarven traditions. This is an opportunity for learning for the community. After dinner, it would be excellent if someone or a group from your community could teach a skill or two to those who showed up, preferably one that could help the people of Sanctuary. Tradeskills would be great, so that citizens could learn how to perform a craft which could help them support their families.
The Beacon's schedule is flexible, and I look forward to hearing back from you. I hope you are interested in this event.
Sincerely,
Elias Brock Care of: The Pissing Crone Inn
