Your fine establishment has an excellent reputation for preparing fresh food daily. I am writing to inquire as to the possibility of any left-overs at the end of the day being donated to the Beacon. If the food is unspoiled, but you still intend to dispose of it to make sure that the next day's meal is fresh, we could make use of it to feed the hungry. If this is agreeable, I would be happy to arrange for someone to pick up the food at a pre-determined time, so that it is no extra trouble to you.
