Grease: Reflex save

Linking to this https://efupw.com/efu1-forum/topic/10/10920/grease-web-stinking-cloud-not-checking-saves-enough/index.html?amp;highlight=grease , it seems grease isn't triggering a save at all. I've tested it a few times on EfU and each time I was only slowed, there was no reflex save to avoid being knocked down. Is this an intentional change, and if so, perhaps it should be mentioned here http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/campaign/mechanics-changes/ ?

It seems the reflex save is triggered just as the spell ends, if I remain in the area of affect from the beginning of the spell to the end

There is a long-standing (and presumably Bioware) issue, in what I suspect is mainly online play, for Area of Effect Spells that trigger regular saves.

Stinking Cloud and Grease and other such things have a tendency to not inflict a save as often as they should. A level 6 casting of Stinking Cloud will only trigger three saves. One of which will not have any bearing on the victim of the spell. Grease, regardless of the caster level, seems to only cause one check, right at the end, which (also) has no bearing on the victim of the spell.

This is a dreadful shame... because otherwise Grease would be a really bloody fantastic spell.

I wonder if it's possible for grease and other such spells in EfU to enforce one save per round.

As far as I can tell, the spell script that is supposed to be firing once per round is not actually firing, because the server is busy processing other events (combat, perception, pathfinding, etc). As Kotenku said, this seems to be a general issue for online play.

If anybody knows of a tested solution for this problem, please let me know! I'm sure that we're not the first people to run into it.
