A note to 'Mistar Fenwick' at the Beacon

[A dirty, torn note is left at the Beacon]

Dear Mistar Fenwick,

I ain't much for writing, but I want ta ask yoo a few questions about what yoo intend to do as Counsiler. The Monster Bans are hurting us a lot. When I was yunger, my parents had a nice kobald named Pazelbard who helped us with our chores and helped my mom with her errands. He was nice, not mean like the others say. He used to catch rats for me to eat. One day, a mean man who said he praised Bane said it was legal to kill him and sacrificed hiim to someone's hand.

Will you please make it so that people can't harm these races unless they harm us first? They deserve a chance, don't yoo think? How can we say all are bad without listening to them first? Only the bad ones need to be punished. Illmater protect you.

Belinda Karos

Dear Belinda--

I received your letter. You are right, and the law should be changed.

I do not want to see two laws, one for humans, elves, dwarves, hin and gnomes, and seperate laws for everyone else.

Murder is murder, no matter what race.

You are welcome to come to the Beacon or the Town Hall and talk to me whenever you want. I make the beds in the Beacon every Dark.

The Beacon is open to you, should you need some soup or a place to sleep.

Stay safe, Belinda, and my Tyr protect you.

Your friend Fen
