I have a ranger/wizard and have found that she is unable to use some scrolls. Specifically: Knock, Cat's Grace, Bull's Strength, and a couple of first level spells that I can't recall. Many others seemed to work fine. She has no school specialization, and the spell level of the scroll seems to make no difference, either. The Cat's Grace really threw me, as that is BOTH a ranger and wizard spell.

I could go around to various merchants and compile a list, if that would help.

I don't think rangers can use scrolls. So that has nothing to do with your problem. At least if they can, I haven't found any I can use on my ranger. They can use divine wands though of cat's grace and such.

My ranger can use "Grease" scrolls. Bam. :)

Uhh... Any word on this? This has the potential to severely limit my chars development.
