Step one: Establish summoning circle via Coal, right half on left palm, left half on right palm.
Step two: Griping the knuckle, sprinkle the dust with opposite hand and mutter incantation while waving stone over k[smudge].
Step three: Hold fists firmly together at the base of wrist, visualizing image of image you require.
Step four: As incantation for a mundane conjuration is spoken aloud, quickly spin knuckles and move arms up and down forming an eight in the air, slamming palms together after eight is completed.
Step five: As the knuckle falls, the conjuration bursts forth.
[scribbled in the margin] While it was not the desired image, it was quite clearly incorporeal. Apparent arms formed, as well as a shrouded face with eyes, though no legs, floating with tattered cloth hanging off of it. Through the ritual I was able to form a mental link with it, allowing me to speak through it. The force was oddly hollow, and sounded nothing like me, progress is being made. The closest thing to mimicking a human form thus far. The search continues for a reagent that allows a summoning of my direct thoughts in an illusion. I've no doubt such manipulation of the weave will take much time, and of that I have little of. Chaos erupted once more between upper and lower...Many more died. Many children were left fatherless.
