Getting two new spells on lvl-up

Hello,

In regards to a post of mine. I would like to know, is it ok to coordinate two wizard's progression when lvling up?

Thank you, alogen

The process of gaining spells when gaining a level represents the study that a wizard is constantly putting into their magic culminating in a discovery of how to perform certain kinds of magic. If you have a partner in study, it would seem perfectly reasonable to ask that they concentrate on the study of a different application of magic than you do, so that your combined studies will yield greater benefits for both of you.

As with any roleplaying choice, there is also a lame way of doing this which is more frowned upon, which would be something along the lines of, "Hey, I'm going to take fireball and you can take haste, so that we can kill more things faster with explosions."

In other words, sure, as long as you roleplay it well and stay in character, instead of doing this coordination out-of-character.

Okey, thank you! :)

My idea is what I work for now: Wizard Federation, where different wizard will work on different spells (or schools). I posted a note in the Last Stand, so whether I do it good or not, it sure be very public, to the DMs at the least.
