Dear Curators or Caretakers of the Beacon,

I've visited your establishment a couple of times now, and seen a few children and beggars staying there, but not much else. From the explanation of the building's function, it doesn't look like a whole lot is being done with the place. Is this due to a lack of funding, or organized volunteers, or something else entirely? I'd love to speak with whoever is in charge of the place, and see how I can help bring a little more light to the poor and disposessed of Sanctuary.

I'm afraid things have gone downhill a bit since the last caretaker, Vibernum, was killed. The current caretaker is Elym. I haven't seen in a few days but I hear he's still around. I still check on the stew and do a few things, but it's pretty dull around there lately. I wouldn't mind some extra help. Hopefully, you'll get a letter from someone with more authority.
