"The Captain" doesn't look particularly Duergarish, dunno if it's lighting or not, but they're described as grey hair, grey skin. His skin looks normal (could be lighting), and that hair is most definately black/blue.
Just a suggestion, not sure if it's website or module.

Now I'd like to ask a favor from everyone. I'm thinking of adding some external links to useful websites that may help new players understand the realms better and/or provide good referencing. Post any useful links that you use here so I can use them. Also, DMs are of course welcome to verify those links. Examples would be:

Suggestion: In the campaign section, I really like the little in game screenshot portrait that each of the NPCs have. I was wondering if it was possible for a similar thing to be done for the Three locations outside of Sanctuary, with each represented by a ss portrait of their respective race. As mentioned before in IRC, I think this Mind flayer
