IRC for Mac

Eep, no I'm not a spambot! (Like a spambot would spam about mac stuff anyway, heh.)

I got this fancy new macbook laptop a bit more than a month ago, and when I tried to find a schnazzy free IRC client, I couldn't. So, I downloaded Snak, which has a 30 day evaluation period. Which now has expired. So I figured, maybe some of you mac using folks out there know of a nice freeware IRC client for mac? I could just go through the hassle of getting a new 30 day evaluation client, but it'd be nice to have one I wouldn't have to change/reset monthly. So if you have any ideas, spill them out, and I'll love you for it!

(And yeah, this is the reason I haven't been on IRC for a couple of days. I'll see you folks again soon hopefully!)

Chatzilla. It's free, and it's integrated with Firefox.

I know of X-Chat also, used to be free, don't know if it still is.

xchat is fine for the mac. it's free too.

When you get the "Evaluation date expired!" message, just wait a while. After a couple of seconds, you can just press "Continue" and it'll start loading IRC. Hey, that's how I do it. Dutch powah.

No, that's the way to bypass mIRC. Khaled Mardam-Bey, you suck, much to our advantage!

I use X-Chat, it has some nice features, is easy to use, and is freeware.

Coolness, thanks for the suggestions folks! I'm giving chatzilla a try since I've been curious about it for a bit, but if I decide it doesn't reach my expectations I'll take xchat for a spin.

Do X-Chat! I use it on my Macintosh, and in comparison to the other IRC Clients I use, it is by far the best!
