A letter to the Sheriff

Hi!

You probably don't know me-and that's too bad. But I'm writing about the flyers I've seen about the Tribe of the Blade.

An incident did happen, which involved both the executed Tribesman and the one going by Andrei. Here's how it had gone-

We just came back from a good treasure hunt in the pipes of the city's sewers, and we were sharing our large treasure; the man Kalthazar came by, and looked hungrily at our gains. As a warning, I told him not to touch our treasures. He took this as an insult to his reputation and threatened to cut my hand -after a long argument, he finally gave up.

Concerned, we- well, me and Ix, ran into Andrei, one of the Tribesman as well, and we re-told him of the events. He, as Kalthazar, took this as an assault to their honors, and proceeded to insult Ix' honor by saying she was twisting his words -when she clearly was not. That a tribesman backs him up does not surprise me, but it leads me to think that they do not recognize Kalthazar as one of theirs anymore, is not for his actions, but because he failed at discretion - that, or they needed a scape-goat to avoid the blame on the whole tribe.

Way before that, they were also seeking an ugly person, for unknown motif- for which I did not help.
