I have recently witnessed Corupt Sheriff Barister Fawkes abuse his authority as a sheriff also I believe he should be either removed from sheriff duty or at worse put on trial for endangerment of sanctuary. I saw him outside the mayors hall indeed try to strangle a tribe of blade member without a simply saying your under arrest or even using the arrest wand He began ignoring the mayor when he said stop and ordered a seargeant to subdue him. Sheriff woke up from subdued and then said the tribe of blades will leave despite his coruption the mayor said its best to leave now to clear it up. Even when the tribe of blades member was running and clearly outside the gate Sheriff Fawkes chased him and felt the need to attack him Seeing sheriff was trying to kill an innocent bystandered I fired a wand of magic missles as my words saying stop was not effective. In the end the tribesman got away and I was arrested for serious crimes of assualting the sheriff. I only assualted him cause of the following reasons. Even after he says all tribes at the gates will be shot.

1 He was clearly abusing his power as a watchman and trying to murder a inocent citizein just cause he didnt help defend the gates I dont find that a reason to kill nor even a arrestable offence.

2 He Might have just endangered sanctuary cause he attacked a tribesman without legal authority to do so IN FRONT OF OTHER TRIBESMAN! I remind you part of arresting guidelines is to avoid angering settlements outside Sanctuary.

3 Ordering the watch to shoot at all tribesman who dare go near the gates is basically declaring a war that would waste our troops on a pointless cause when t heres hundreds of goblins in town and other monsters that will attack us.

4 I indeed fired magic missle wand at Fawkes In order to stop him from killing a innocent. It is likely peaceful resoloution can still be arranged with them if the tribes man is not dead.

5 I request the serious charge of assualt be dropped from my record as I did that as my duty to save a life and protect sanctuary.

6 Fawkes should be not only be arrested for willfull endangerment but also attacking a citizein with intent to kill I think trying to strangle a man and hitting him with a sword without trying to arrest him for anything is not only against arrest guidelines but trying to kill a citizein.
