I have reason to believe the "Tribe of the Blade" has made contact with a force of orogs. It is possible these orogs have been hired or convinced to attack the canal gates in two days time. At this time the tribe is blatantly blackmailing our city demanding gold to respond to this threat--a apparently large force of orogs that will attack a trading partner less than fifty years from their own camp.
I require your forces to verify this information immediately.

Sheriff Fawkes,
We will dispatch scouts to investigate these rumors. At present, the most likely threat is either from a nebulous force of orcblooded creatures known as the "Bloodtusk Tribe," or one of the numerous tribes that roam the Badlands wastes. If the threat is from the former, then you would do well to interrogate the Da'Gaerre Mercenary Corporation, as they have allegedly had dealings with such creatures. If the threat is from the latter, then we will endeavor to notice any such activity within the Badlands region.
Clarification of your initial dispatch is also welcomed. Any information concerning the members of the Tribe of the Blade whom you believe involved, further elaboration on the orog threat, and clarification of your terminology in the phrase "attack a trading partner less than fifty years from their own camp" would do much to assist our efforts.

Several members of the Tribe have warned the Watch that these orogs will soon attack us. One even gloated that he'd stand on the walls as the orog's attacked Sanctuary and refuse to unsheathe his weapons unless Sanctuary agreed to hire his tribe as guardians.
This tribe makes its home fifty yards from the canal gates in a cave. To attack Sanctaury at the canal gates the orogs will actually walk past the Tribe of the Blade. This is what I refer to, the Tribe claims to desire to establish Sanctuary as a trade partner but their dishonorable history-flagrant violations of our laws on goblins and kobolds, their demands of gold to even warn us about a threat, and then demands for more gold to aid us defend against it in anyway all are demonstrating this group is not to be trusted.
I am curious if any of your members have heard about their past? I almost suspect they may be marauders with a poor history in the Underdark. The spoke of last being at camp near a city of duergar.
Finally, I have reports that Traensyr is devolving into a weaker state than ever. Its streets are flooded with ooze and slime and the lich Temariel's forces are resurging after their defeats only a few months earlier. Traensyr as I'm certain you know guards one of the three known routes to the surface and the route which is widely accepted to be the safest to travel.

I presume your scouts were unable to locate these orogs before they attacked and slew our citizens. It is my estimation the orogs must have known vastly under traveled routes to arrive in Sanctuary to have escaped the detection of your skilled scouts, there is no other explanation--do you concur?
In light of the Tribe of the Blades actions, I believe it is imperative to locate the deurgar whom last they camped near. I am willing to supply the Seekers with gold in order to purchase information from these deurgar to learn why the Tribe left their city, and if the Tribe also had a history of similar behavior while encamped in their last "home".
The Council agrees that we must investigate the serious allegations made against these yellow suited men. I plead that you make this foremost effort before more assassins can arrive to attack us.

Fawkes.
I have little information to give you on the Tribe of Blade apart from they're a tribe of people that just happen to be a bit different from us. There is really no need to fear them.
I suggest that you speak with there leader or something, maybe that would help?
A member of the Tribe - a little kolbold called Zeake also served tha Sanctuary a great deed during the goblin attack on canal ward. He's the one who defeated the general gobbo and pretty much saved us all, as he stunned him and burned him to death. Whilst the rest of us struggled to fight him.
I'm sure some sort of reconition or respect for the kolbold is due - I know you probably don't want too - but try your hardest! For me!
