A vote for Padril, A vote for You.

[written in an elegant handwriting posted on the pissing crone, last stand, Ghail's shop, and a number of places in upper]

Dear Fellow Citizens,

I Padril Tet beckon you to lend your mind and your ears. I am running for council and have many concerns about the various things that occur both within council itself and to the affect they produce. I am here for you. I wish to solidify this town's defenses. Far too long have we been widdled down by enemies. The Spellguard, the watch, and YOU will have the say in how we do this. I have an idea that involves the Spellguard and upcoming plans that, with your support and opinions, can be seen to completion. I also wish to have our futures insured by keeping the young which have seen too many ill-fates in recent past. I wish to have my speech in two days time. It will be at the orphanage in upper where I shall be passing out rothe dinners, drinks, and a prospect for a greater future to all within the orphanage and those that come to lend their ear to my cause. Together we will make this Town strong and prosperous.

You fellow citizen, Padril Tet ((Monday 7pm eastern or so))

I also wish to have our futures insured by keeping the young which have seen too many ill-fates in recent past.

A bright coloration of ink is run over a specific line of some posters, but not all, and a hastily written sentence drawn in at the bottom.

Read it for yourself, open to your eyes to the meaning between the words! Barricade your children from he who would eat the souls of our children! BEWARE THE MIND FLAYER KNOWS ALL!

Speech given:

I look at all that this great settlement has been through over the last few months, and I remember the immortal words of the surface poet Robert Marlson. He said that it is often said that it is the most difficult times that produce the best people, and this rings true today.

Sanctuary has recently faced some of its most dangerous moments, and has persevered as vile plagues sweep across its populace and invading armies pound on its gates. Neither drow nor orog has vanquished the mighty resolve of the people of Sanctuary, and though some of our brothers and sisters may have fallen, we persevere with dignity and strength.

I return to those great words now and hope that you will cherish their graceful dignity with me. We have seen some of the darkest days of our times recently, and I’m certain that, with the proper efforts on our part, we can all come to share in the tranquil joys that life here has to offer.

The strongest have pulled themselves from the sorrow of war, famine, and disease. The mighty who we see every day may not be living in the shadow of poverty, but many here are. We cannot forget their suffering, and I, Padril Tet, hold it is my goal as a member of the Council to make sure that they are treated with dignity and respect.

We know and understand that the begger and orphan may be tomorrow’s Watchman, and now that we realize how we must all stand together if we are to survive, it is time for us to offer our neighbor a helping hand.

A rothe-steak in every pot, and a glimmer of hope in every mind.

Vote for Padril Tet on the first of Nightal.
