If I'm not mistaken, a DM asked not long ago where some extra waste barrels could be useful.

Some nearby Rebxn, Bunge, Hrunpar, the surface portal quest, and in the melee room of the Last Stand would be useful. (Places where I've seen people leave things lying around on the ground for lack of a trash barrel.)

Groups will go up there to split their quest loot. It's semi-private, with plenty of floor space to lay things out. Not all groups make sure to pick up all the items they lay out. On at least 3 occassions, I've picked up junk left on the floor of that room, and carried it outside to the trash.

Not all players realize that leaving items laying around eventually contributes to lag. Having receptacle bins in areas frequently used for splitting loot, or in places where it is common to have junk added to your inventory (Rebxn), maybe people will be better at not leaving stuff lying around.

Of course, I'm sure there's a point of diminishing-returns, where having trash bins outnumber the amount of junk currently left lying around. :?
