Letter to Thrania Sureshadow

The letter is written in a somewhat shaky hand, as though the writer was under great stress while doing so.

Madame,

Even though your comments on the election are completely slanderous, I choose to ignore that matter in this letter. No, I direct myself specifically to the fact that you appear to believe that I wish to abolish the Monstrous Race law. This is not the case. I merely wish to enforce a more strict yet more open policy that will possibly allow those monstrous creatures that do have honest intentions to gain honors of citizenship in our city. There are plenty of them out there, yet it is in people's nature that negative experiences gain the most attention. Denying any and all slaver or monstrous creatures access to our city completely cuts us off from all possibility of trade with other factions in the Underdark. We will turn into an isolated island that will slowly wither, because we are not self-sufficient, and we need to obtain certain resources via trade.

Because you have entirely misinterpreted my intentions, and what is written down in your paper simply is not true, I hereby demand a rectification. Note that whether or not your revised statements are in positive nature towards my sentiment is of no concern to me, so long as they are not based on inaccurate facts.

Sincerely,

Dugo Nish
