Letters to Sonj, Gemcutter Brothers, Delorin Drake

[Individual letters are left for the following individuals: Sonj, the Gemcutter Brothers and Delorin Drake.

Your letter is written in a sloppy hand. There seems to be large ink blotches on the parchment as if the writer left the pen in one place too long, thinking about what he should write.]

Friend,

As you know on the eve of Uktar 22 a trial for a criminal known as Mhurg was held. This Mhurg was a Duergar -guest- in our city. The evidence was overwhelming and he was swiftly found guilty.

As you also know, the Duergar was found guilty of killing multiple citizens of our city, and he was only given Exile. Councilor Bhast, who conducted the trial, even attempted to make a deal with the Duergar in exchange for a no guilty verdict. He did so openly and without shame.

We request that you make this information public. We are in no position to do so, as we fear reprisal from the Sheriff, as you may know he and Bhast are very close.

Signed, A Concerned Private

Concerned Private,

I was at the trial and a) Bhast only asked the duergar if he knew where the cities of his kin were, he didn't not offer anything in exchange and b) I don't remember any Watchmen other than Sgt. Quinn at the trial which leads me to suspect that you are not who you claim to be. Having said that I will not make this information public due to the fact that it is irrelevant to anything and if it was, Sgt. Quinn would have made it public.
