Sorry to have 2 question threads at one time but can Amaunator have Paladins, and if so can they multi as clerics? I read the Paladin rules but it doesnt mention Amaunator even though he is Lawful, assumingly because he is considered "dead", although he is alive just drifting due to lack of followers and zealousness to his cause.
Amaunator Paladins
Amaunator is a Lawful Neutral deity who arguably still grants spells, so technically you could be a paladin. However, considering he has next to no followers, is generally considered a deceased deity and all his Orders have either been dissolved or reformed under other faiths such a Lathander, it would be a very big stretch to actually play one.
As for the multiclass, cleric/paladin is fairly uncommon also. Paladins are by and large a special case, with deities granting them unique powers to aid them in their cause against Evil, personified in the paladin code. They have a largely military bent. Clerics, especially of Amaunator, the dead deity of Law, Planning and Time, function more as proselytizers.
It would be very hard to play that multiclass well! I'm unsure if it's allowed by rules, though.
Understood and Thanks! I have been officially deterred from a probable bad idea.
