Yesterdays Trial - and a general thanks/brownnosing

Not even sure this is where this should go. Move if needed please.

First off its good to be back, no, great to be back and its days like yesterday that make it so.

Right...So...I dropped as many ooc tells as i could yesterday thanking everyone involved, but incase i missed someone. THANKS!. Thanks to all involved in Klaus' trial and the even preceding it.

Thanks to the dm whom rp'ed bhast at the actual trial, was great and i think considering the value each and every player got out of it the verdicts where more then just.

But particular thanks to the players, im sorry if it ended up longer then expected. The quality of rp that came out of all those involved really is a representation of a) the environment we're given to b) show our uber leetness rp'ing skills.

Honestly though, when i see an oppurtunity like that pop up, scripted quest i had goes out the window and bam! enter pc plot. So sorry those that needed to log, do homework, mark their students maths exams (you know who you are winks:P)

To those who werent there. Let me just say this. When you see oppurtunity to develop your character -or- assit in developing and bringing to light others, particularly through rp with a group of other characters in any form. Take it. With both hands. You can do your damn scripted quest later, this aint wow. Grinding inevitably leads to a death, which drives some to grind more. So, develop a character, not a character sheet.

When i came to efu i knew -nothing-. NOTHING. didnt even know how to make my character talk let alone rp. Im sure you can imagine what happened, then toss the word ban in the mix. Fortunately, we've got an extremelly mature base of players and dm's.

And having been on an embarrisingly large amount of servers, first hand i tell you this is RARE. be greatful. When i returned after a decent break (contract worker) i started two new concepts, Minx and Skragg. Too anyone that has played with either, dm and player, thanks. Thanks so much, its you who gives another player a chance to unfurl their character concept and watch it grow and change (and in skragg's case die!). So in my second stint sure i made some mistakes, and sorry if i did, but i'd say i learnt alot. So thanks for your patience. Hint in their is patience, patience and respect for your other players, we're all trying to have fun here.

Now im back again after another short break with a couple new concepts and whamoo! surprise surprise the server has only changed for the better.

So thanks to all involved. flame me if you think i'm sucking up thats fine but i aint. My advice atm is roleplay out a concept dont rollplay a char sheet, have ooc patience and respect for your other players (this has nothing to do with doing evil/devious ic things with your chars to another chars just for record) and have fun.

Sorry for the longish post.

Tsien.

Even though you decapitated Chessolin, played ball with her head, and ate her, it was still loads of fun :) And Minx is so cute!

Skragg was a great character which I, sadly enough, didn't get to RP with as much as I had hoped. Hopefully your new characters will be just as great. Welcome back Tsien.

Seems Tribe Bloodeye needs to go on a quest to ressurect Skragg

[ hint hint ]

By the way Tsien, Im Miasma, Bigx2's son, Bigx2 now plays under CoARefugee

hey thanks guys.

yeah mias, spoke ta ya old man other night.

nother top day of roleplaying yesterday with alot of people, more to come.

As for skragg, was hard to play her, i told her to do one thing and she did a completely opposite thing :P crazy damn orc.

which brings me maybe to another thing i picked up along the way.

Dont get attached. I got attached to skragg, cause she was fun for me and other people and there were alot of cool things going on, one ruza mentioned (hery! i was kicking your head around, that was the brood, i was too busy eating your heart) So the mistake i made with her was getting attached. Distance yourself and think of it all as an interactive movie that way you characters get to take their course and you get to see the whole tale.

2cents cheers
