Hey everyone, I did a quick read of the website and made my character tonight. The module looks great. I can't wait to begin playing. I was a player on Arabel for about 2 years and was looking for something new. This looks to be exactly what I needed. I hope to meet you all ingame!

Aww, You remembered  I do have a question though that I should have asked before I made up my character. Without spoiling too much of his story, I had planned on him stumbling into a disguised portal in a cave, and waking up within the underdark. Through sheer blind luck, he walked into the town (Sanctuary?) not knowing where in the hell he is. I realize the odds areagainst anyone just bumbling through the underdark and ending up here safely, but I would like him to be completely clueless to his surroundings, and being a slave, he would have a notion of his whereabouts. For all intents and purposes, Nicolai (my char) thinks this is all in some nameless cave off of the side of the road. Is this too 'out there'?
Thanks!

I'd say, do what feels good. I see no problem with the concept. Odds may be slim, but odds excist, and I've seen weirder things happen in the Underdark. Just enjoy the concept, not everyone's a former slave.

Welcome. I hope you enjoy your time here.
Sounds like a perfectly acceptable concept, in fact it's how most people got to Sanctuary (pure luck).

Reading back on this, I suppose I have something new to add.
The chance that someone who enters the Underdark, accidently stumbles upon Sanctuary, if unbelievably slim.
However, the chance that someone in Sanctuary accidently came here, is a pretty decent chance. It takes math to figure out. 8)
