Letter left at Watch House

To whom it may concern,

Myself and a woman named Luludja were asked by a strange man who called himself Zeek to join him in a trip to "clean out slime." He led us to a depot in the canal ward where we indeed found many oozes and slimes. When he started up holding a holy symbol and the oozes flocked around to obey him, our suspicious were aroused. He led us onward, however, promising great treasure. The basement of the depot was flooded by fluids, and it was there he admitted to being a priest of Ghaunadaur (or "the Elder Eye" as he called him), and that everything we did in the depot was to be done in his name. He then attacked myself and my companion. Thankfully we were able to defend ourselves, and I sent him running from the depot like a baying hound, frightened of the fury of my rapier. Apparently he is now trying to spread confusion by claiming it was the other way around.

The man Zeek is a menace and a knave, and if he will not satisfy honor by meeting me in the arena to duel like men then he should be locked up or exiled or otherwise dealt with by the proper authorities so he does not serve as a threat against the innocents of Sanctuary.

I have written this testimony at the request of Deputy Haren De'votell.
