Letter for Sergeant Quinn at The Watch

Fair Dark, Sergeant.

Saw I, this dark, thine letters calling for scouts for the Watch. I bear interest in applying for such office. Being a priestess of Erevan Ilesere, thou wilt find me to be uniquely qualified, boasting not merely training in stealth and the workings of traps and locks, but, as well, holy empowerment to divine mine surroundings (a trap cannot go unseen by the eyes of Erevan), to leap miracles past danger, and to walk untouched by light at a whim. These skills dost I offer regularly as a mercenary, and with great success have I employed for the Watch (scrapping with fanatical ettercaps and the like.)

Yet in talks with Barrister Fawkes yesterdark, he spake of constraints on hiring priestesses. More to the word, he spake of clergy being barred from employment with the Watch, save perhaps followers of Helm. I be thinking that perhaps such limitations were intended for the standard beat, and not for thine specialists?

Should constraints regarding clergy apply equally to thine scouts, yea have I seen the cloth of chagrin ye must wear, that religious prejudice can stand in the way of the safety of the citizens of Sanctuary. But, notwithstanding such a rule, if ye bear interest in learning more about what a diviner of Erevan can contribute, please leave me with word at the Last Stand.

Erevan's Fortune to ye, Jacky Deckard
