Letter to the Spellguard Tower

The letter is obviously written by someone who has a steady and well-focused hand. The strokes are bold, and the style seems to be written to impress while at the same time be highly readable. The letter is delivered by a small boy, who appears to be a beggar. He clutches five gold coins and leaves the letter with one of the Spellguard Agents in the Lobby.

Honorable Receiver,

I spoke with a member of your fine and prestigious order on the eve of Uktar 15th, but I was not given a name. I would humbly request that this letter be passed onto him along with all contents within.

Esteemed Agent:

I have spent time looking into the matter we discussed, and I have come upon some posters that I have included with this letter. After falling upon these I am convinced, combined with the prior evidence that I have presented to you, that this group is to blame for the assault on the Spellguard Tower.

It seems that they will strike again and if I had to wager a bet I would say that they may strike at the Watch House or perhaps the Last Stand. Though my input is not requested, I do not believe meeting their demands are necessary. It seems that this is a small cult of some sort, and I have a reasonable idea on how to deal with them in a proper fashion. At your request I will see that it is done, and that the safety of our city is once again no longer threatened.

Sincerely yours, Lord Delorin Drake Uktar 15th, 1373 DR (The name is written in a flowery script, and below the name and date is a stamp of some sort, appearing to be made from wax and pressed with a ring.)

(Included with the letter are two posters.)

[Lucius skims through the note and forwards it to Strife]

Mister Drake,

After reading what you have said and examining the attached flyers, it does seem that these terrorist actions could have spawned from this group, which makes them another suspect to this case. However, investigation efforts are already focused upon another suspect which cannot be disclosed at this time. If you feel that you are able, I would encourage you to continue your private investigation and report your findings in a careful fashion. Your observations are not going untouched, and may be rewarded for continued favorable preformance.
