Major Quest System Issue

When someone takes a quest, fails (through death or giving up), any encounter that was triggered but the corresponding monsters not killed will fail to trigger for the next group that comes through.

So if you try a quest and fail, I'd appreciate a quick DM tell so we can kill the remaining monsters manually.

If you try a quest and the end boss or other monsters don't show up, again just send a DM tell so they can spawn them for you.

Hopefully we'll get this fixed soon.

Does that count with spawns too? Beacuse i once saw three dire spiders in the spider caves once :o

Efure (random spawns out in wilderness areas) seems to be working fine. That includes spider caves, bowels, sewers, the majority of the Underdark areas, and so on.

This issue has been fixed, monsters should always respawn now.

The following additions will be added in the coming days/weeks:

(1) Telling when someone is on the quest from the quest giver (2) Being able to add new people to a quest after having taken it (3) Reseting a quest if someone logs off/runs away

I tried the Spellguard automata quest just a few minutes ago and absolutely nothing spawned, except the schematics and random treasure. If it makes a difference, the server was extremely laggy.
