*A quickly written letter is left with the Watchman at the Watch House*

I regret to inform you that Sgt. Wells fell in combat to Drow during a Spellguard led raid. I carried his body back to the Mausoleum and the priests tell me there is breath left in him. However it will be some time before he is able to conduct full spectrum of his duties. I have his packs and will turn them over to the Watch House after next shift change. He fought with honor and bravery consistent with high standards of the Watch organization.

Correction to my first letter...Casca Quinn as fallen in battle. He is currently being treated with the local priests.
