Letter to Agent Delgado

Delivered by a street urchin, paid to deliver it by hand to the agent.

"Delgado, explain to my why it is I am wanted as a sympathizer for the illithids? I've slain more in the last two weeks, than I imagine any fool walking around upstairs. It was I that warned many about the agent the "Society of the Ordered Mind" let walk free to spill our secrets.

I do hope, in light of the aid I've rendered in the past, and intend to render in the future-that you are able to do something about this. Recall the aid with your investigation, and the necessity of being able to work openly with me to complete the process at a time, manner, and place of your choosing--all for the safety of this city.

I also give a hearty recommendation to the young wizard, Edgin that was sent to arrest me and investigate me. He's canny, witty-not clever enough to find or catch me; but he is certainly on his toes. Perhaps even a fine enough fellow to help in many of your own projects."

The note is unsigned.
