Can Daze perhaps include a movement penalty? I Dazed someone the other day who proceded to "walk" away from me as I swung a battle axe at his head. Basically, for the full duration of Daze, I didn't get a single swing in because he "walked" away from me so easily.
The spell may be a cantrip, but part of the purpose is to stun an opponent so you can get in a free hit.

The walking thing is actually an exploit.
Though I think even a movement penalty will still allow it to be done.

Well, a DM was watching it-so I don't think they considered it an exploit. Personally, I would; but some solution would be nice.

Although I agree with the walking thing being lame, daze is -not- stun. Stun will include not moving, not doing anything. Daze just stops the other one from attacking - which is nice for a cantrip.

It's just like to drink a lot of beer and start spinning around.
That way you'll get really dizzy (hence: Dazed? Does that derive from eachother?), and you'll almost randomly walk into different correction. Walking in a straight line should be impossible, but walking (and the occasional trip) should be able.
