Between Sanctuary's efforts at reconstructing itself after a devastating (albeit short) war, hordes of goblins and kobolds stealing territory in Lower, a Dragon threatening to destroy the city, and a shaky reunification, hastily forced upon the citizens by the council; citizens of Sanctuary are afraid and dissatisfied. Sanctuary is in disrepair, and there is a great need for great men and women. Men and women, are needed, the great will rise to power and become famous... The dastardly, infamous.

This is my call to people who would wish to join in my next character's attempts to become great.

The call is primarily for those with interest in politics, but moreover will be for those who merely have a great desire for power, fame, and fortune. From the brutish mercenary thug sort, to the scheming charismatic politician.

Naturally, I have specific goals in mind for this concept, but given their spoilerish nature, I'd rather speak of them in private than on the OOC forums.

Above all, my criteria for joining is going to be that the players who volunteer in the beginning are dedicated players, who won't disappear without telling anyone. I want players serious about the plot, who will stick with their characters until a they get an appropriate death; who won't give up after they die on a scripted quest, for example.

Recruitment will also occur In-characterly, and In-game, but I'd also like to have a fair base of interest before I begin, proper.

I've set up an IRC channel in #efupolitics, where questions will be answered, and the plot itself will be elaborated upon.

I'd like to tag along with this; I have been brooding on a concept for several months now, and this sounds perfect to what I was planning. I would need to catch up with last half-year's events, but I have no doubt that I will do so swiftly. In the first week of April, I'm in if you'll have me. You're sexy.

Sounds fun, any requirements OOC for players?

Above all, dedication to your character. It bothers me to no end to have people just stop playing their characters or disappear when I'm trying to run a group.

If you die a bad death to a scripted quest, it's not a good enough reason to stop playing, in my book.

I mainly want people who are interested in really making a major change in Sanctuary's government.

In-Character Recruiting is always on-going, and to join on In Game is about the only way to get involved. Expressing your interest in IRC just makes it easier for me to find those who are interested, in game.

The movement, and its goals will be becoming readily and widely apparent, pretty soon.
