Letter addressed to the Seeker Hall, from Brother Wise
My Brethren in The Way,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to you concerning the recent events that have come to my ears on the streets, in the shops, and in the alleys. I consider the recent trials and tribulations that the promised have had to endure for the cause of Enlightenment to be burdens almost too heavy to bear, and at this time it is easy to fall prey to anger and despair, or to retribution as a course of action to make things right. Brethren, I would exhort you with all my energy to stay your hands against the watch and from laying down judgment on those who may oppose our Cause. This war will not be won with swords and shields, but with the truth of The Way and with the seeking thereof.
It is with a light and happy heart that I can announce to you, that I will be returning from my preaching and prosyliting, my work and my passion in the outskirts of the city to better aid you in this time of need. The people only need to feel the benefits of seeking The Way, and know that we as Brethren can guide them along that journey. You, the Seekers, have long been the ones to act as the physical guides, the active seekers of this profound Truth among the darkness in which we find ourselves. To date we as Brethren of the Ascension have mainly taught and guided those spiritually. To day I announce to you that I will serve to both gather the herd and to drive them on to the Promised Lands above, to the light, to the enlightenment, and to True Salvation.
Should need me Brethren, I am there. Should you ask, I will come. Together, we will find The Way and true Sanctuary for our brothers and sisters here with us. I am often teaching in the streets, or at the Shrine or your Hall.
May we find The Way,
Brother Malcolm Wise.
