[Letter to the Stouthearts]

I recently fought the one you call Furin in an honorable duel. He easily proved to be my better and I was quickly defeated. I understand he has passed to another plane so I send this letter to you. One of the conditions of the duel was that the owner's armor and weapons were not subject to confiscation. Due to the interference of higher beings, I still live. If any Stoutheart has taken possession of my clawed gauntlets, I would gladly give a sizable donation for their return. Furin faced me with honor and courage, and I respect that. If one of you possesses my gloves, even the dwarven paladin who oversaw the fight, please do the honorable thing and see them returned to me. I can be reached at the Pissing Crone.

Briun Diirx.

Briun Diirx,

To the best of me knowledge the Kuldjargh carried the possesions on him when he passed 'way. As such it will be nay possible ta see anything returned.

Yers,

Dain the younger of the Mithrilplated, Son of Dorn, Blood of Godrimm, Hammer of the Mother, Champion and elder of clan Stoutheart.

I appreciate your prompt response. It was my own foolish behavior that lost my equipment, ultimately. I honor your fallen comrade and hope he died as he would have wished.
