In D&D 3.5, the Pick Pocket skill is replaced with Sleight of Hand. SoH covers pickpocketing, weapon concealing, and other dexterous deceptions with the hand. On EfU, would taking the Pick Pocket skill denote ability to perform such tricks and feats of legerdemain?

Yes, PP can be used to hide small objects as well (reverse of pickpocketing) and tiny tricks.
