Letter to the Sherrif

To the office of the Sherrif-

I recently fell to an Ogre in the tunnels under Lower, and I am told that my body and my belongings were recovered by officer Longbrook. Some other friends had paid to have me restrored, and after my recovery, I went to Longbrook about my possesions. He gave me back my halbred-- and only after the threat of calling in a superior officer did he give the money that was found on my body.

I am still missing a great many things. Three bags, full of the following items:

A ring of the paladins A ring of the Deap a small purple ring Fryar's signet ring Fryar's amulet of award one small runestone one charm of sleep a copy of court documents my wedding ring a dozen or so bags of herbs fifteen or so bundles of bullet ammo for a sling one healing crystal

as well as some other lessor improtant items.

I had encountered Casca Quin, and he asked me to put this list of items down and send it to him. If you would please show him this copy, and look into the matter yourself, I would appriciate it.

You may send replies to the Crone.

Ferdinand Fenwick.

*the letter is forwarded to Quinn with a note*

"I don't have time to deal with this criminal. Just ensure he gets his possessions back; minus anything of Fryar's which should go to his temple or any living priests unless Fenwick has a will to prove ownership looted from the dead."

[Leaves a note for the Sheriff]

Understood, sir. I specifically told him to write to me only, I am not certain why he wrote you.

-Private Quinn

Mister Fenwick,

Having not heard from you in several darks, I began to assume that you were no longer with us. Knowing now that you are, I assure you I am looking into the matter.
