A call goes out to any who hold Sanctuary close to their heart. Those with the strength, courage, and intellect to serve Her against the encroaching darkness are invited to join the Spellguard Associate program.

The Spellguard has a long history of serving Sanctuary. Their Agents restored the Animatrons that guard us to this day. They are the true source of arcane protection defending this city has, and have worked diligently to protect the city from drow, illithid, and the dread forces of the Sslal'teesh.

Men and women of many skills and professions are urged to inquire about membership:

Wizards – The Associate program is an excellent way for any aspiring Agent of the Spellguard to prove his or her worth. Exceptional wizards will be taken on as apprentices by Agents, and many will work with more established magi on their research.

Soldiers – Strong, intelligent fighting men and women are requested for service. Common duties include prestigious bodyguard work for Agents in the field and planning and executing ways to protect the city.

Scouts and Trackers – There is always a place in the Spellguard for those who are exceptional at gathering reconnaissance and information in the field. The ability to detect and deactivate snares, bypass enemy defenses, or track creatures of all sorts will be rewarded.

Holy Men – The faithful of deities who are interested in the arcane, especially Magistrati of Azuth and those faithful to Lady of Mysteries, are invited to apply. Those interested will be given the opportunity to research the intricacies of the Weave alongside some of the brightest minds in Sanctuary.

All Associates are well paid for their work. Good service may earn potions and scrolls at the much lower cost of production rather than the inflated charges that are common among merchants. Visit the Spellguard Tower or speak with a Spellguard Agent or Associate to learn more.
